Data: Columbia Basin Redband Range (Owyhee)

Columbia Redband Range OwyheeCompared to most cutthroat trout, mapping of redband populations has been seriously neglected. This is beginning to be addressed, and a range-wide conservation agreement was signed in 2014 (see download system). The major exception to this is the Owyhee basin, located in SE Oregon, southern Idaho, and northeastern Nevada, which was the subject of a detailed assessment by Trout Unlimited, sponsored by the Bureau of Land Management.

To make it easier to access the attribute data on our web maps, we’ve kept this dataset separate. Click on the stream lines to bring up substantial detail about habitat and abundance.
